Special Education Teacher - Travel - Staff Today (STI)

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Special Education Teacher to work at a Facility in Steger, IL. This is a registry position with our company.

40hrs Travel Package
Weekly Gross Pay = $1200
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $30
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1400 (Hotel-875 Meals-525)
Total Weekly ($1400 is not taxed)= $2600
Feels like per hour = $65
$2600 div 40 hours = $65

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction in a variety of subjects, tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student
• Monitor student progress and make adjustments to instruction as needed
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Special Education Teacher
• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field
• Valid teaching certificate in special education
• Experience working with students with disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must have up to date certification in the state of IL
• Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away
