Your Important Role as a Special Education Teacher:

• Work one-on-one with students in mainstream classrooms, collaborating with general education teachers to adapt lessons.
• Lead dedicated Special Education classrooms, planning and presenting lessons tailored to your student's unique needs
• Perform evaluations, document interventions, and progress, and maintain detailed records of observations.

Qualifications for this Special Education Teacher position include:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field from an accredited university.
• Teaching certification in the state of California.
• Special education teaching certification and credentials.
• BLS certification.
• Prior special education teaching experience is preferred.
