Job Details

What You Will Be Doing:

Collaborating in the planning and implementation of IEPs for students.
Managing the IEP process including goals, objectives, mainstreaming, and related services.
Conducting academic testing and participating in student evaluations.
Individualizing programming based on student strengths and weaknesses.
Carrying out classroom teacher responsibilities (lesson planning, record keeping, etc.).
Supervising and evaluating program assistants in the classroom.
Working with general education teachers to support mainstream students.
Completing required department and state reports to ensure compliance with mandates.

Skills You Need:

Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Learning Behavior Specialist I Endorsement
