- Special Education Teacher needed to start immediately
- Cloquet, MN (located 25 minutes west of Duluth)
- Covid vaccine is NOT required
- 1 School / K-12
- Caseload of about 10-15 students
- $34 to $36 hourly, depending on experience
- EBD Certification Required
- Full Time / 37.5 hours weekly
- Responsible for writing IEPs
- Mostly Inclusion - Some Pullout
- Teaching 1:1 and/or in small groups (less frequently)
- Mostly Social/Emotional and Behavior Skills
- Communicating and Collaborating with General Ed Teachers so that students will be successful in the General Ed Class
- At times, will support students in General Ed Classroom
- Part time candidates will be considered!

Responsibilities:- Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ educational deficits
- Conduct initial screenings as well as comprehensive evaluations Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for Special Education services
- Provide Special Education sessions through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
- Maintain all documentation required by the district including, but not limited to, notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
- Must hold a current license to practice in the state of MN
- Have successful experience working with culturally diverse families.
- Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development
