Special Education Teacher at Phaxis

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The Special Education Teacher will work closely with students, providing support and guidance to help them achieve academic success.

Salary

$40-$48/hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilize experience working with students to develop individualized intervention plans

• Implement behavior management strategies to support student progress

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate literacy education into interventions

• Utilize learning technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes

• Provide academic advising and support to students in need of additional assistance

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members regarding student progress

• Utilize library services to enhance student learning experiences

Requirements:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting

• Proficiency in behavior management techniques

• Strong written communication skills for developing intervention plans and progress reports

• Familiarity with classroom dynamics and effective teaching strategies

• Ability to integrate learning technology into interventions effectively

• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues

• Knowledge of literacy education principles and practices
