Responsibilities:
Summary
The Receptionist’s duties include offering administrative support across the organization by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities for the Receptionist
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Handle outgoing mail.
- Download documents from vendor websites and send to appropriate individuals.
- Perform otherduties such as filing, photocopying and faxing.
- Performs other related duties and tasks as necessary or as assigned.
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
Requirements
- Must be bilingual - English and Spanish - they will be providing translation for customers over the phone and in person.
- Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience.
- Excellent customer service experience in person and over the phone.
- Good oral and written communication skills to articulate key information.
- Self-motivated and able to handle multiple tasks with minimal guidance in order to meet deadlines.
- Initiative and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Self-starter and work with direction and taking ownership of areas of responsibility.
- Detail-oriented.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Temporary to Hire
- $17per hour
