Requirements

• Educated native or bilingual speaker.
  
• 2+ year(s) of classroom experience teaching Spanish language to adult English-speaking students.
  
• 1+ year(s) of teaching experience in a small-group classroom setting.
  
• Must possess the cultural background of the country and geographical region. (raised or educated in the county).
  
• Familiarity with the communicative approach to language learning, ILR proficiency scale levels and OPI assessments highly desired.
  
• Familiarity with various computer platforms, including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams).
  

• Teaching Spanish as a foreign language, preferably one-on-one or small group settings.
  
• Familiar with teaching with the communicative approach to language teaching. 
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  
• Ability to assess the learning style of the student and adjust teaching accordingly.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a distributed team.
  
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Theories and practice, preferred.
• Ability to work remotely and provide required services from alternate locations via MS Teams, ZOOM, etc., as needed.
  
• Instructors must be able to work in a harmonious and professional manner with cultures from around the world.

Skills Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a distributed team. Strong client service, organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities. Ability to work remotely and provide required services from alternate locations via Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx, etc. at the direction of the Client highly desired.
