Vaco is seeking a Contract SOX Auditor for a client, focusing on auditing, compliance, and gap identification in alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. This role is remote but requires candidates to be based in the Southeast and available for in-person training before transitioning to remote work.
Job Functions Include:
- Perform detailed SOX audits.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Identify and address deficiencies in compliance.
- Collaborate with departments to enhance processes and regulatory compliance.
- Provide recommendations for risk management and compliance improvements.
- Assist with year-end SOX testing and ensure timely completion.
- Review and monitor accounts for ongoing compliance.
- Follow up on audit findings to facilitate corrective actions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CIA, or CISA preferred).
- Demonstrated experience as a SOX Auditor.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SOX regulations.
- Commitment to ethical standards and professional integrity.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
