Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Southwest Growth Leader to drive business development efforts within our Water Market. This role will be responsible for expanding our presence in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and other adjacent markets in the Southwest Region. Reporting to the Water Market Leader, the Southwest Growth Leader will lead overall business development initiatives to enhance our water, wastewater, and water resources engineering services for local government clients.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact and service manager for clients in the Southwest region.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to the water team to drive growth and success.
- Develop strategic business plans and client engagement strategies to expand our market presence.
- Identify new service opportunities and foster relationships with potential clients.
- Supervise client service managers and support their efforts in project scoping, proposal preparation, and project performance oversight.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Business Management.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in the water sector.
- Leadership experience in professional organizations such as AWWA or WEF.
- Established client relationships in the Southwest region.
- Proficiency in design software used for engineering and design documents.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Base Compensation: $180,000 - $210,000 + Bonus
