Job Overview:
As a Sous Chef, you’ll play a critical role in managing the daily operations of the kitchen, collaborating with our Executive Chef to execute a consistently high-quality menu, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You’ll help oversee food preparation, quality control, and team development, leading by example to inspire and mentor kitchen staff in a positive, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and special events
• Oversee food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes
• Supervise kitchen team members, providing guidance, training, and support
• Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to optimize kitchen efficiency
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Help maintain a positive and motivating work environment, fostering team camaraderie and a passion for hospitality
• Actively contribute ideas for seasonal and innovative menu items

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or lead line cook in a high-volume, chef-driven environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a commitment to teamwork
• Knowledge of current culinary trends and a passion for creativity in the kitchen
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
