Some of your responsibilities:
- Work with the back-of-house team to ensure the staff is trained and understands the culinary program.
- Participate in Management financial meetings to assist in meeting goals.
- Ensure proper staffing in the kitchen.
- Maintain a safe and pristine restaurant.
- Lead and engage staff in the expectations for hospitality excellence.
- Assist in the hiring and onboarding of new team members.
- Be hands-on and assist where always needed.
Experience must-haves:
- Current Sous Chef experience in an upscale full-service restaurant.
- Excellent industry tenure and references.
- A clear understanding of safety and sanitation protocols.
- Professional and kind personality.
- Strong knowledge of current culinary trends.
- Natural ability to lead a professional team.
- Hands-on with the kitchen team
- Ability to multitask.
