We are searching for a talented Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in assisting with all aspects of kitchen management, including hiring and training staff, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with health department regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in hiring, training, and supervising kitchen staff
- Ensure the highest level of food quality and presentation
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen management experience
- Experience working in a scratch kitchen preferred
- Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures and health department regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
