A LITTLE ABOUT SOHO BISTRO & LOUNGE
Established in 2021, SoHo Bistro & Lounge is a new restaurant and bar serving the Manchester area. With delicious appetizers, entrees, and drinks, anyone can find something to enjoy here! Our managing partner, Barry Longshaw has been in the restaurant and nightclub business for over 30 years and is skilled at creating an excellent upscale dining experience. At night, we invite local DJs to come and play music.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOUS CHEF
The typical schedule for this part-time food service position is about 10 hours per week, with shifts between the hours of 4 PM - 1 AM, Tuesday - Saturday.
As a Sous Chef, you manage a variety of tasks, such as preparing ingredients, taking food out to thaw, portioning and preparing sauces, and more. You work closely with our head chef to ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. On a day-to-day basis, you're responsible for preparing all menu items according to the recipe and plating specifications, ensuring consistent quality in every dish that leaves the kitchen. Throughout your shift, you organize the kitchen, prepare dishes, and keep your workspaces clean and tidy. You love having the opportunity to take your culinary skills to the next level!
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BE A SOUS CHEF?
- Experience as a line or sous chef
- Food handlers permit or the ability to acquire one
