Title of Position – Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager
Compensation – $65,000 to $70,000; based on experience

Job Description: The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing the entire kitchen operations for the restaurant to include daily service, holiday menus, group functions, and special events. The Sous Chef is responsible for assisting with management of day-to-day operations of the culinary department, upholding service standards, and helping to meet and exceed profit goals. The Sous Chef will also be responsible for ordering, receiving, and proper handling of product, developing new menu ideas, meeting with clients when appropriate, training staff and ensuring that all product represents our high standards.

Qualifications:
- The Sous Chef must have a minimum of 3 years of related culinary experience in a high-volume atmosphere.
- The Sous Chef must have experience in inventory/cost controls, fiscal planning, and knowledge of profit and loss reporting.
- The Sous Chef must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- It is preferred that the Sous Chef have experience with banquets as well as a la carte service.
- The Sous Chef should have open availability.
