As a Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in planning and directing food preparation in our kitchen. Your responsibilities will involve supervising kitchen staff, solving problems efficiently, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Development: Assist the Executive Chef in developing and executing an innovative and diverse menu.
- Supervision: Oversee and coordinate the activities of cooks and other food preparation workers.
- Quality Control: Ensure the freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, tracking inventory, and rotating stock.
- Dish Presentation: Create exceptional dishes and present them in a visually appealing manner.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a full-service restaurant.
- Exceptional ability in kitchen management and operations.
- Strong skills in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress.
- Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.
- Credentials in health and safety training.
- Degree in culinary science or related certificate.

Salary Range
$65,000-$70,000 annually
