$80,000 - $85,000 + Bonus

Your Role with the Company
The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in all BOH operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, including line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, ensuring adherence to recipes, standards, and procedures
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute innovative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency
- Manage inventory and food costs, ensuring efficient usage of ingredients and minimizing waste
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards.
- Assist in scheduling, training, and performance management of kitchen staff
Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years as a Sous Chef for a $4M+ upscale full service restaurant with high focus on hospitality skills
- Able to accommodate a wide variety of food and cooking methods
- Positive outlook, personable, approachable, hardworking & committed to the success of the team
- Strong time-management skills and sense of urgency in the kitchen
- Highly organized with the ability to plan and lead with strong communication skills
