About the Job
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products in a safe and clean working environment.Train and develop food production and utility staff to comply with all of the University and University Housing and Dining (UHD) policies and procedures including scheduling, daily monitoring of work schedules, coaching, counseling, and evaluating as needed.Communicate and coordinate with culinary staffto ensure that freshness and quality of the food served is of the highest quality and presented timely.Actively participate in menu development/menu testing and special events planning and execution in conjunction with the Associate Director, Director, Manager, Executive Chef, Chef Manager, and the entire unit management team.Utilize the departmental food production system (FoodPro) for forecasting, ordering, production, inventory, and financial evaluation; including responsibility and accountability for food cost as directed.Monitor the condition of equipment
Place work orders as needed with the Administrative Associate
Demonstrate proper use of equipment and chemicals
Drive UT Vehicle.
