We're currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our team as the second in command in our kitchen, working closely with our Executive Chef to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fine dining establishment and strong leadership skills are essential.
- Uncompromising work ethic, passion for hospitality and cooking, and meticulous attention to detail required.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work seamlessly as part of a cohesive team.
- Personal, reliable transportation is necessary for on-site work at events throughout the Metro Atlanta area.
- Physical requirements include the ability to handle and carry trays, small wares, equipment, or other items weighing up to 50 lbs, standing, walking up and down stairs, and exerting well-paced mobility for an extended time.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating seasonal menus and preparing daily prep lists.
- Oversee event preparation and ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory and train team members.
- Enforce health and safety standards and communicate effectively with the team.
Schedule:
- Full-time, exempt position with preparation hours typically from 9 am to 5 pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with flexibility required for event schedules.
- Night and weekend availability is required, but the schedule is flexible and includes some nights off.
Compensation:
- Base salary ranges from $45K to $60K annually, depending on experience.
- Paid vacation, holiday schedule, mileage and parking reimbursements, discretionary bonuses, and event gratuity tipping included.
