Job Summary



We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our team at the new café in Arlington. This innovative cafe is in a new building with CoStar. Your responsibilities will include serving meals to up to 600 people daily, with 300-400 clients per meal. Join our ambitious team and work closely with our Executive Chef to deliver high-quality dining experiences.


Responsibilities


As a Sous Chef, you will:



+ Successfully manage and lead a team of 12-15 associates in the kitchen.


+ Coordinate the flawless execution of daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation.


+ Develop and implement outstanding menus for both daily service and special catering events.


+ Maintain a strictly organized and sanitary kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.


+ Collaborate with our team to determine and fulfill client needs, delivering an outstanding level of service.


+ Manage prep and production efficiently to meet the demands of a high-volume setting.



Requirements


We are looking for candidates who have:



+ Proven experience managing a fast-paced kitchen environment.


+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.


+ Outstanding culinary skills and creativity in menu planning.


+ Heavy production experience, particularly in high-volume settings.


+ Ability to maintain composure and deliver excellence under pressure.


+ A dedication to encouraging an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
