Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 6 Months of contract

As a member of Corporate Procurement, you will join a highly skilled and motivated team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end sourcing process of a labor focused category. You will be required to ramp up quickly to establish an in-depth understanding of the category, associated costs, market intelligence, and apply this knowledge to influence future roadmap & sourcing decisions. Effectively interface with suppliers to negotiate optimal cost and terms for service. Understand the tradeoffs between cost, volume, and quality to negotiate agreements that meet performance criteria and cost requirements.

Responsibilities
- Conduct or support negotiations and supplier selection
- Present cost and contract recommendations to leadership
- Deliver or support productivity through price negotiations and other continuous improvement projects
- Manage reporting of supplier financials, market inflation, and other environmental cost drivers.
Requirements
- Extraordinary verbal communication skills, the ability to lead meetings, track actions and drive follow ups
- Excellent written communication skills, demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with external partners
- Demonstrated negotiation experience, the ability to manage RFP from inception to completion managing to a timeline and engaging cross functional partners
- Proficient with Excel, the ability to manipulate spreadsheets and pull key insights
- Maintains poise and a positive attitude in a dynamic environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to function effectively when working independently or in a team
- Ability to rapidly learn, be inquisitive, and adapt to dynamic requests
- Ability to deal with high level of ambiguity and operate in a fast paced environment
Education and Experience
- Bachelors Degree required, plus 3-5 years of experience or the equivalent
- Experience with vendor, customer or client facing work
- Experience with negotiations or procurement strongly preferred
