Responsibilities:Technologist operates and maintains specialized ultrasound equipment for use in performing ultrasound procedures that required independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Consistently utilizing a holistic approach (considering physical, psych/social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria) appropriate for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients served in the assigned service area.
Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent. Certification in either Echocardiography or Vascular Technology through the ARDMS or CCI. 6 months of hospital/ clinical experience in the area of cardiovascular sonography.
- Current certification in either Echocardiography or Vascular Technology through the ARDMS or CCI.
- Expectation of future cross-training into Echo or Vascular ultrasound.
- Certification for 2nd modality must be attained within two years from the start date of cross-training.
