We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Sonographer to join our team in the medical industry. You will be working in a fast-paced, technologically advanced environment where your expertise will be highly valued. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Sonographer, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Performing high-quality ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
2. Providing consultation and guidance to other sonographers, physicians, and healthcare professionals regarding ultrasound findings and procedures.
3. Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
4. Assisting in the development and update of sonography protocols and procedures.
5. Participating in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
6. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of advancements in sonography technology and techniques.
7. Providing education and training to other healthcare professionals and students in the field of sonography.
8. Ensuring the proper maintenance and calibration of sonography equipment.
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must have:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sonographer, preferably in an OBGYN setting.
2. Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
3. Demonstrated expertise in OBGYN sonography, including fetal, gynecological, and obstetrical ultrasound.
4. Excellent technical skills, including proficiency with sonography equipment and software.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information to a diverse audience.
6. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
7. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
8. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
9. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and complete patient records.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to stand for long periods and perform detailed ultrasound examinations.
