About MARCH: MARCH is an intimate restaurant that pushes the boundaries of fine dining in Houston. Chef Felipe Riccio s exploration of Mediterranean cuisine a region where cultures, languages, and ideas converge offers thoughtful and personal multi-course menus. Complementing this culinary journey is an extensive wine program curated by CEO & Master Sommelier June Rodil and a highly esteemed wine team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a leader in the dining room, enhancing the guest experience from start to finish.
  

• Build rapport with guests and deliver bespoke service tailored to their preferences.
  

• Showcase expertise in wine regions, producers, and vintages, with a special focus on Mediterranean and European wines.
  

• Drive sales of wines and beverages, seamlessly integrating elevated service into the dining experience.
  

• Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service flow.
  

• Maintain detailed guest profiles to personalize future visits and promote loyalty.
  

• Provide ongoing education for the team on wine knowledge and service techniques.
  

• Assist with wine procurement, inventory management, and administrative duties.
  

Candidates must have an acute eye for detail, understand multi-course dining, and excel in guiding guests through personalized wine and beverage experiences.

• Possess 2+ years of experience in fine dining service, preferably with sommelier duties.
  

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer, with a passion for continuous learning.
  

• Exude leadership and enthusiasm while fostering a strong team mentality.
  

• Be hardworking, reliable, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  

• Have the ability to interpret guest preferences and create memorable, personalized experiences.
  

• Exhibit proficiency with POS systems (TOAST) and inventory tools (CRAFTABLE).
  

• Hold current TABC and Food Handler s Certifications; wine certifications are a plus.
  

• Be able to lift 40 lbs, work on their feet for 10-hour shifts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
