Solutions Engineer - R.W. Mercer Co.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with our sales and product teams to provide technical expertise, support the sales process, and drive successful outcomes for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical sales support, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solving complex problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop technical solutions to meet their needs.

- Present technical solutions to prospective clients through demonstrations, proposals, and technical discussions.

- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase the value of our solutions.

- Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback on product enhancements and new feature requests based on customer needs.

- Provide technical support to the sales team during the sales process, including responding to technical queries and participating in customer meetings.

- Assist in the development of sales enablement materials, including case studies, whitepapers, and technical documentation.

- Conduct technical training sessions for customers and partners to ensure successful implementation and adoption of our solutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience in a solutions engineering or pre-sales role, preferably in the technology industry.

- Strong technical background with experience in software development, cloud computing, and data analytics.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions.- Experience working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
