Overview:

CDLE seeks a Senior Solutions Consultant to provide strategic guidance on technology initiatives, focusing on solution design, vendor selection, system integration, security, and regulatory compliance. This role requires an experienced professional to bridge business needs with technology solutions and ensure alignment with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design Vendor Selection:

Design technology solutions that meet CDLE’s goals, evaluate vendors, and assist in the RFP process.

System Integration Strategy:

Develop integration plans for seamless data flow and coordinate with vendors and partners.

Information Security:

Advise on security strategies, risk assessments, and compliance with state and federal cybersecurity standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure technology systems comply with relevant laws and regulations, and support audits and reviews.

Technology Governance:

Recommend governance frameworks, participate in steering committees, and ensure technology aligns with departmental goals.

Technology Roadmap:

Develop a technology roadmap aligned with CDLE’s long-term strategy, focusing on emerging trends.

Project Oversight:

Provide guidance on major projects, monitor progress, and ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery.

Stakeholder Management:

Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and maintain relationships with vendors and partners.

Capacity Building:

Recommend training and knowledge-sharing strategies to enhance staff’s technological skills.

Qualifications:

15+ years in technology consulting or advisory roles, with 10+ years in a senior position.

5+ years of experience in unemployment insurance with a state department of labor.

Strong knowledge of solution architecture, IT security, and system integration.

Expertise in state and federal regulations for government systems.

Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
