Kforce has a client that is seeking a Solutions Architect/Threat Hunter in Herndon, VA. Summary: The Solutions Architect/Threat Hunter will play a critical role in proactively identifying, analyzing, and mitigating advanced cyber threats within the organization's network. This position involves designing and implementing robust security architectures and threat detection methodologies to protect critical infrastructure and data. Key Responsibilities:

Solutions Architect/Threat Hunter will develop and integrate cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilevel security requirements
Proactively search for and identify advanced threats within the network using threat hunting methodologies
Analyze host, network, and application logs to detect and respond to potential threats
Conduct risk assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis to identify security gaps
As a Solutions Architect/Threat Hunter, you will collaborate with IT and security teams to implement best practices and enhance threat detection capabilities
Provide technical guidance and support for incident response and remediation efforts
Document and address information security and systems security engineering requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
Proven experience in cybersecurity, threat hunting, and systems architecture
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, tools, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GCIH) are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
