Solutions Architect II, AGI at Amazon

We are seeking a GenAI specialist Solutions Architect to join our Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Customer Enablement team to work with our Foundation Model (FM) team alongside internal and external Generative AI customers to build the applications of the future. If you are interested in learning new technologies, working directly with customers, and are data-driven this may be the role for you.

In this role, you will be the voice of the builder, with ownership for working alongside Amazon businesses to develop GenAI solutions that deliver their immediate business value and realize the future of customer experience. You will help your customers understand best practices and develop new best-practice patterns as you encounter new problem spaces. With your day to day focus on the builder, you will be expected to provide insights to product, science, and engineering on how customers build with our FM's and how we can improve. You will be empowered to invent on behalf of our customers and advocate for their needs throughout design, build, and launch of next gen FM's.

This position has a high level of visibility, so you will need to be able to communicate clearly and compellingly at all levels of the company and externally. Additionally, you will be responsible for measuring business impact by diving deep into metrics and customer inputs. You should have a positive attitude and strong work ethic; you will work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly.

Key job responsibilities

1. Ensure success in designing, building and migrating applications, software, and services with Amazon FM's, AWS Bedrock, and other GenAI capabilities.
2. Interact with customers directly to understand their business problems and help them implement durable GenAI systems.
3. Educate customers on the value proposition of AGI FM ecosystem and showcase the state of the art.
4. Drive deep architectural discussions and design exercises to create solutions built with Amazon FM's.
5. Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, workshops, demos and proof of concepts.
6. Build deep relationships with customers, engineering, product, and science leaders.
7. Capture and share GenAI best-practice knowledge across internal Amazon builders and the AWS solutions architect community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
2. 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
3. 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
2. Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
3. Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.
