The Opportunity at Komodo Health
The process of transforming healthcare data into products and services requires cross-functional collaboration and coordination, involving multiple teams and stakeholders. The Solutions Architect (SA) plays a vital role in technically supporting our customers throughout the lifecycle of Komodo’s relationship.This role is accountable for planning and delivery of Komodo’s suite of products. This includes; requirements gathering, hands-on execution of deliveries, turning ambiguous requirements and conceptual workflows into reality, and serving as the technical expert in customer facing interactions.

- Obtained an understanding of Komodo’s Healthcare Map, platform, and suite of products.
- Executed customer product delivery against schedule and at-quality; including in-depth technical discussions and hands-on data delivery.
- Developed, tested, documented and trained supporting resources on proven workstreams.
- Contributed to Komodo’s playbooks and internal knowledge base.

- Scoped and solutioned both standard and non-standard workflows and determined the best options to deliver value.
- Facilitated detailed data conversations with Komodo’s Legal and Compliance teams and distill and share key outcomes to stakeholders.
- Maintained active engagement and providing insight to internal stakeholders, such as Product Management, Data, Sales, Engineering and Customer Success.
- Collaborated with project teams to drive resolution of standard and bespoke customer requests.
- Successfully managed multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, sometimes uncertain environment.
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Intellectually curious, eager to solve difficult problems and willingness to learn new technology to get the job done.
- Knowledgeable in foundational data skills, such as data queries (SQL or similar), schema, and database concepts are required.
- Demonstrated experience working across a range of technical end-users, including but not limited to data scientists, engineers, non-technical stakeholders, and end application users.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally in meetings and in written technical documentation to drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Able to handle competing priorities and own and drive data operations releases end to end within minimal to no oversight. Collaborative and low ego. Willing to learn, iterate on, and improve Komodo processes.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and projects with high quality and grace under pressure, with a customer-centric mindset. Including pro-active communication & internal system hygiene.
Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…
- Foundational understanding of AWS, Snowflake, and API technology is strongly preferred.
- Experience with automating tasks via Snowflake Tasks, Airflow, or scripting.
- Strongest candidates will have technical degrees and experience within the healthcare industry.
