Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop the end-to-end System high-level design based on conceptual and high-level functionality guidelines, with a special focus on E2E connectivity aspects.
- Designing Global Connectivity service architecture, create solution model, use case identification, create sequence and activity flow /design diagrams.
- Train domain owners and architects on roles and responsibilities.
- Up to 10% domestic and international travel.
Skills/ required experience:
- 5 years of experience in automotive infotainment, telematics, connectivity solution architecture and design experience.
- Basic experience with Automotive Telematics Connectivity systems, cloud networks, backend database connections, system design, Ethernet, and Vehicle Networks (CAN bus).
- Basic experience with Apple iOS (Carplay), Android OS (Android Auto).
- General understanding of Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Understanding of wireless communication protocols (Cellular, GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth).
- Understanding of the Engineering designer role for embedded systems.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team with designers, coders, integrators, and business teams. Strong leadership and
- relationship-building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of an organization.
- Experience with software development tools such as SDKs and APIs. This includes API definitions such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, protocol buffer etc.
- Ability to work under Agile guidelines and processes.
