Opportunity:
The Solution Architect (SA) provides expertise to PCG prospects and customers in support of Infor’s solutions license revenue and customer success. The SA provides deep industry knowledge to help develop compelling solutions to target specific industries and micro verticals. The successful SA uncovers the strategic objectives and business opportunities with prospect stakeholders during discovery and understands the key metrics driving the Infor solution evaluation. This is a PCG strategic role that combines competencies of strategy consulting and sales. Work closely with the sales organization to provide compelling solutions, presentations, and business cases while becoming the trusted advisor of our customers. Location:
PCG consultants can reside anywhere in the US and must be willing to travel to customer sites as required
Responsibilities
- Understands client’s critical business issues and demonstrates compelling, value-based solutions using Infor’s software capabilities.
- Work alongside the Sales Executive to help develop a Strategy to Win
- Work with individuals throughout the sales organization to develop an overall account and opportunity strategy.
- Apply product knowledge, presentation skills, and technical understanding to effectively present Infor products to prospects and customers.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitive products
- Provide feedback to sales management and product management on potential new capabilities.
- Provide strong pre-sales experience in developing compelling solutions
- Lead architect role for large multi-product suite opportunities – design, orchestrate and deliver high-level “big picture” presentations as required.
- Confirm deal qualification
- Collaborate with the Sales Teams to deliver a high-impact solution presentation to the customer and prospect
- Conduct consultative quantitative analysis, ROI modeling, and benchmarking
- Develop and deliver compelling, highly narrative, and engaging business case presentations to senior, including C-level, business audiences
- Create value assets and artifacts to improve the field team’s ability to discuss value and business case development
- Work alongside Value Engineers to help define the value proposition as and when appropriate for the sales opportunity
- Gain trusted advisor status with customers and prospects by understanding their business and developing strategies with them to gain tangible benefits to the business using Infor solutions
- Understand Infor’s technical architecture and highlight benefits as part of the overall product solution.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business-related field
- A minimum of 8+ years of qualified experience in Infor LN software implementations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver oral presentations
- Ability to analyze complex problems and formulate alternative approaches
- Promotes a positive attitude with customers and project team members
