We are seeking a detail-oriented Solar Site Surveyor to contribute to our renewable energy initiatives. In this role, you will conduct thorough site assessments, collect data, and analyze information to facilitate the effective design and implementation of solar energy systems. Your expertise will be essential for optimizing energy production and ensuring project success.
Responsibilities
Conduct solar site assessments using a smartphone and surveying tools, ensuring timely data upload. Activate solar systems post-installation and gather customer feedback. Manage your schedule to complete multiple time-sensitive tasks daily. Occasionally obtain permits and coordinate inspections. Research land records to verify boundaries and property lines. Create documentation for property boundaries and legal documents. Stake clearing boundaries, check as-built conditions, and perform layout work.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable climbing ladders and working on steep roofs. Adhere to safety protocols. Willingness to access attics and work outdoors year-round. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance. Commit to continuous improvement. Travel using a company vehicle; valid driver's license required. Construction and/or roofing experience preferred.
