The Solar Lead Battery Installer plays a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar battery storage systems for Solar States’ residential and commercial clients.

The Solar Lead Battery Installer plays a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar battery storage systems for Solar States’ residential and commercial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments to determine the suitability of solar battery installations.
- Install solar battery systems, including mounting solar panels, connecting electrical components, and configuring batteries
- Integrate battery storage systems with existing solar PV arrays and electrical systems.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning to ensure optimal functionality. Provide customer education on system operation and maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during installations.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize installation processes and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry trends, products, and technologies related to solar battery systems.
- The installer will be responsible for jobs in the Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey regions, with travel to other states as needed. Overnight travel may be required.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of solar battery installation experience and certifications with Tesla, Enphase or Franklin products
- Minimum 2 years of experience running a solar or battery installation crew
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or higher Optional desired Requirement
Optional desired Requirements:
- Journeymen’s or Master Electrician Electrical License
- Electrical upgrade experience including Meters, SEU Riser/Feeders, Service Disconnects, and Main Panel Upgrades (MPU’s)
- NABCEP Certification

$30-$40/hr depending on experience and certifications.

- 15 days paid vacation per year (prorated)
