Qualifications and responsibilities for this Solar Construction Estimator position include:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
4+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating, with expertise in solar or telecommunications preferred.
Develop accurate scopes of work and comprehensive estimates for solar projects ranging from 1MW to 50MW.
Utilize estimating software such as ProEst to create bids and maintain detailed project records.
Evaluate and incorporate factors like prevailing wages, sales tax, and insurance into estimates.
Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to provide complete and competitive bid packages.
Review historical project data and lessons learned to refine estimating models.
Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus an annual bonus.
