S³ Inc. is seeking a Software Web Developer to join the corporate IT team at our HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.

This is NOT a teleworking position.

Description:

The Web Developer will apply security principles, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes in order to meet or exceed customer expectations, and, complete projects within targeted time scheduled milestones and cost estimates.

Responsibilities:

Designs, develops, and maintains the organization's Intranet and Internet to include installation, configuration, support, and maintenance to ensure web services and programs function securely and efficiently.

Develops, creates, and modifies applications software or specialized utility programs.

Analyzes user needs and develop software solutions. Perform requirements analysis and management.

Works with business stakeholders and executive management to apply expertise to technical issues/problems.

Applies security principles, methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes in order to meet or exceed customer expectations, complete projects within targeted time and cost estimates.

Designs software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Provides SharePoint support for business units within the organization.

Configures web pages, configuring web parts, lists, views, libraries, Office client integration, content management, file/data management.

Develops workflow creation and maintenance, navigation and taxonomy, and search improvements.

Uses and integrates third party tools.

Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Requires a minimum of 5 years related experience.

5 years of experience creating websites with Visual Studio, ASP.NET, and C#.

5 years of experience creating and maintaining an IIS website.

5 years of experience documenting code, in a version control type repository.

5 years of experience with SharePoint, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.

Experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, MVC, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, XML, Entity Framework, IIS 6-8.5 preferred.

Experience with full life cycle software development is also preferred.
