Schedule: Full-time on-site (40hr/wk, Mon-Fri)

Salary Range: $110,000-$150,000 annually, depending on experience and education.

We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to support the Missile Warning/Missile Track (MW/MT) Enhancement program that develops, integrates, tests, and deploys mission critical Warfighter capabilities. ONE Dev is a Colorado Springs-based small business that provides engineering services to various DoD customers. The Software Test Engineer will test systems that integrate data from Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) to address current and future emerging non-traditional ballistic missile threats to enhance the overall ITW/AA situational picture for the Combatant Command (CCOM). The software Test Engineer ensures programs develop, integrate, and deliver the following capabilities to provide decision makes with a more complete event picture:

• Enhancement of existing displays to incorporate new sensors with existing data, and modernize database content with additional multi-domain meta-data to improve threat assessment and attack characterizations required to address new sensor data.
• Improvement of source data accuracy for the missile warning mission and translation for integration into CCIC2S that will enhance mission displays and improve impact prediction.
• Creation of multiple display options for the operator and reduce ambiguity between missile defense and missile warning displays.

Job Description: The Software Test Engineer performs various test tasks throughout the program development lifecycle as part of an agile development team.

Requirements:

• Software Test Plan, Procedures, and Acceptance Criteria development
• Test artifacts development experience in support of Test Readiness Review
• Hands-on experience in developing software automation frameworks and writing test scripts.
• Supports capability development/delivery/sustainment for a DoD Mission System
• Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy, JavaScript, Python,
• Agile development methodologies and related tools (e.g. Jira)

• Professional software development with Java or Python, or other programming languages.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mind-set.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Critical thinking skills and initiative to tackle challenges as they arise.
• Self starter, willing to take on challenges and actively solve them.

Desired:

• Missile Warning/ITW/AA, Missile Defense/C2BMC, or Space Domain Awareness mission systems
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on work history with the Atlassian Tool Suite, such as Confluence and Jira.

Educational Requirements: BS degree in a related computer science or engineering discipline with 5 to 10 years of progressive experience, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training, and certifications.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance. To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
