**Position Overview:**
As a Software Developer in a support role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our clients and internal teams. You will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring the smooth operation of our software products. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of software development, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide technical support to clients and internal teams by troubleshooting and resolving software-related issues.
- Utilize proficiency in Java to diagnose and fix software bugs.
- Work with Unix-like and Windows operating systems to support software deployments and configurations.
- Assist with database-related issues, leveraging knowledge of relational databases.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members through oral and written communication.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Document support processes, solutions, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software updates and changes.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and organization in all tasks.
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple support requests concurrently.

- Proficiency with Java programming language.
- Proficiency with Unix-like operating systems (e.g., Linux).
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong math aptitude.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High level of professionalism.
- Strong reading and comprehension skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- 2 or 4-year technical degree (or equivalent).
- 0-5 years of similar experience in a technical support or software development role.
- Ability to pass a Java Codility test.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience with customer support or help desk environments.
- Familiarity with additional programming languages and technologies.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of networking principles.
