Software Quality Senior Engineer - Boomi

About the Job
Responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software according to Agile methodologies. Work with product management, other engineering teams, customer success and support on developing cutting edge new product features and enhancements across various areas of Boomi offerings. Be a key member of an Agile team, collaboratively realizing features through the software development lifecycle. Guide and participate in design, development testing, and deployment of Boomi products and services including enhancements and resolution of reported issues. Investigate and resolve complex customer issues. Mentor other Boomi Quality Engineers, including design collaboration and test reviews. Actively work towards scaling the product domain teams. Gather information to help formulate acceptance criteria; serve as a user advocate, and be comfortable challenging and discussing the intent of stories to surface edge cases and improve outcomes. Contribute to manual and automated testing suite to ensure future software stability. Monitor the teams cloud resource usage, work with external stakeholders and team to keep Boomi on budget and resourced appropriately. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Quality Engineer, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, or a related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Quality Engineer, Software Quality Assurance Engineer, or a related occupation.
Must have demonstrated experience in the following: web application testing using frameworks including Selenium WebDriver; API testing using tools including ReadyAPI; Java, source control systems, and continuous integration tools; agile collaboration tools such as JIRA or Confluence; Web Services technologies including REST, SOAP, and WSDL; using Linux or Unix environment; SQL, relational database systems, and ORM tools including Hibernate; highly scalable, high throughput web applications and backend systems; APM tools; using cloud expense management tools including APPTIO and analyzing and managing resources accordingly; troubleshooting customer issues in production environments; using AWS technologies such as CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, or EC2; performance testing and relevant tools including JMeter; working with localization requirements; and, managing beta testing with customers
