We seek a Software QA Engineer with manual testing skills to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with approximately 2 years of experience in software quality assurance and a keen eye for detail. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute manual testing across various applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
Analyze and understand functional and technical requirements to develop effective test cases and scenarios.
Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, system, and exploratory testing.
Report and track defects using industry-standard tools, ensuring clear and detailed documentation.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve quality.
Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting activities.
Validate fixes and ensure defects are resolved before product releases.
Provide feedback to enhance usability, functionality, and overall quality of applications.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Around 2 years of experience in manual software testing.
Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and detailed test plans.
Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
A basic understanding of databases and the ability to write simple SQL queries is a plus.
Amazing written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with a global team.
