The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Manager, which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.
Responsibilities-
+ Serve as technical lead responsible for design, development, and implementation of back-end, middleware, and front-end applications.
+ Deliver business needs end-to-end from requirements to development and production.
+ Map user stories to detailed technical specifications, automate test cases, triage buds, and optimize infrastructure.
+ Follow software engineering and development best practices with an automation first and continuous improvement approach.
+ Drive reuse of code, ensure adherence to architecture direction and architectural standards.
+ Work with internal and external stakeholders to build solutions.
+ Work in Agile methodology scrum framework.
+ Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning.
+ Rewrite legacy applications that deliver provider data to consumers to improve real-time communication of recent data.
+ Ensure that new designs work within the system. Work directly with development and design of new applications.
+ Virtual/Work from home benefit (hybrid schedule) available.
Qualifications-
Position requires a bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related and five (5) years of experience in software development, or a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience in software development. Experience must include AWS, Kafka, Oracle, Python, SQL, Java, and Hive. Must have experience in the healthcare domain and Agile methodology.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
