About the Job
Responsibilities-
• Lead software development, design, and quality testing to improve company's Revenue Cycle Management systems by advising, designing, and developing enterprise systems such as Front-end Pharmacy, Dispensing, Inventory and Billing, that will facilitate operations in Cigna Specialty Pharmacy;
• Provide technology leadership and delivery accountability for technology solutions for multiple concurrent projects within an application family (i.e. reimbursement, logistics, and inventory);
• Partner with multiple vendors to create estimates and delivery plans for projects or programs across an application family to ensure quality of technology delivery;
• Create detailed specifications or designs for software development, conduct quality assurance reviews of peer application programming, and act as a mentor to others;
• Maintain programs by coding, testing and debugging code;
• Lead actions to determine the root cause of technology problems and driving resolution;
• Lead actions to resolve urgent and critical production incidents;
• Triage, debug, and monitor all key activities for production and lower environments;
• Provide technical guidance to projects/programs for complex components of multiple technology suites;
• Partner with systems architects to set direction on retiring/adding/containing technology components in order to comply with/update the company's approved components framework; and
• dentify and implement process/technology enhancement opportunities in support of operational efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications-
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Software Engineer, or in a related occupation;
• Experience with all phases of the lifecycle of software development including latest components and best practices;
• Experience leading large teams (20+ people) through software design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and upgrade and enhancement;
• Experience implementing and executing CI/CD (Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment) best-in-class strategies;
• Experience with integration of OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project) guidelines and best practices into software design; and
• Experience using: Windows OS, UNIX OS, TCP/IP networks, Pega Business Process Management (BPM), Java, .Net, Postman, SoapUI, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Oracle Forms/Reports, PL/SQL, Kafka, SAS, and Agile (Scrum & Kanban).
