Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Program Manager to join our esteemed Global Management Team. The successful candidate will spearhead globally distributed, multi-functional, and remote engineering teams to ensure seamless coordination and synchronization across software development endeavors. This role demands exceptional leadership, organizational prowess, and an aptitude for driving the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and synchronize activities across software development teams and internal groups to conceptualize, develop, test, and deploy software within designated timelines and with uncompromised quality standards.
Lead and oversee the delivery of pivotal enabling technologies and enriching user experiences.
Manage interdependencies between teams, identifying and mitigating risks while ensuring alignment with requirements and architectural principles.
Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and senior management to foster a conducive working environment.
Assume ownership of project requirements, scope, schedule, budget, quality assurance, and risk management, ensuring meticulous oversight at every stage of the project lifecycle.
Demonstrate exemplary organizational acumen and leadership prowess, complemented by exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable project management experience in the automotive sector, showcasing a profound understanding of industry dynamics and best practices.
Proficiency in leadership, negotiation, and critical thinking, with a track record of driving successful outcomes in complex environments.
Proven ability to cultivate and sustain strategic partnerships, fostering collaborative engagements that drive collective success.
Experience in managing firmware suppliers and third-party development partners, ensuring seamless integration and delivery alignment.
Prior exposure to software development and testing within embedded applications, with proficiency in languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, or Python considered advantageous.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and adeptness in navigating the challenges inherent in hybrid agile/waterfall approaches.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
Previous experience in the automotive domain, coupled with familiarity with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) standards, would be advantageous.
