About the Job
The Commerce Financials team empowers commerce scenarios across all dimensions of Microsoft including Azure, Office and Gaming for both Consumer and Commercial customers. We build the services that transform commerce activities into revenue - the money Microsoft puts in the bank. We are responsible for ensuring that business groups across Microsoft have a near-real time financial pulse on their in-market offers while simultaneously ensuring that Microsoft's weekly, monthly, and annual financial statements accurately reflect the impact of Commerce.
We are looking for Software Engineers to join us in our work to accelerate the pace of our innovation, improve the resiliency of our financial systems, and ensure we provide a compliant while agile platform that empowers the rest of Microsoft Commerce. **Responsibilities**
As a member of our team, you will lead a team of ~10 engineers to design and develop new high-scale services unlocking a broad range of agile Commerce motions across Microsoft. You will work in partnership across organizations while assisting your team to fast-track scenarios that delight our customers with comprehensive and reliable purchasing, provisioning, and invoicing experiences. You will build an equally diverse skillset including people growth, broad cross-org alignment, strong development tactics across an array of technologies and financial domain knowledge that can be applied throughout your career.
**Qualifications**
• 10+ years of software development for shipping/production cloud services
• 5+ years of design and development using Microsoft technologies: C#,Visual Studio,Azure
• 5+ years of experience with Azure: CosmosDb, Table, Blob, ADL, Event Hub
• 5+ years of experience managing people
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, OR equivalent industry experience
• Experieince in operating and maintaining production environments hosted on Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge and experieince in containers with Kubernetes and software development on Linux
• Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills
• Experience working with/developing financial systems
• Good written and oral communication skills • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements
• Demonstrated ability to drive end-to-end feature development across multiple teams
• Ability to analyze complex problems to determine best course of action
