Software Engineer with Security Clearance - General Dynamics Mission Systems

About the Job
Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
Agile experience preferred.
Must have at least two of the following: C++, Java, Javascript (especially React), Linux (especially Redhat), Microservice development, Springboot, and Kubernetes experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S.
Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S.
citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a software engineer for Tactical Control Systems (TCS), you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for research, design, development and testing of software and tools, to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems or embedded products.
This may include coding, testing and documenting software solutions to advance our technology solutions.
