We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable microservices-based applications for mission critical systems. These tasks will be carried out using Agile methodology, requiring the candidate to collaborate with the Agile team to plan, execute, and showcase capabilities continuously throughout the Agile cycles. General Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy microservices architecture for mission planning and scheduling systems. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system integrations. • Implement best practices for scalability, performance, and security in microservices-based applications. • Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior team members. • Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning sessions. • Ensure software meets quality standards, complies with coding guidelines, and adheres to architecture principles. Required Skills • Proficiency and proven experience in Java (e.g. Spring Boot Microservices). • Experience with Unit, Integration, E2E testing. • Experience with Amazon Web Services related offerings (e.g. SQS, SNS, Lambda, DynamoDB, Elasticache). • Experience with containerized orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes and Helm). • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, message brokers (e.g., Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ). • Familiarity with Agile Product Development Cycle, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and modern DevSecOps practices. • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast paced, dynamic, and small team environment. • Looking for a good team-first culture fit and interest in one or more listed technologies and areas. • TS/SCI or TS w/ SCI eligibility (potential CI Poly may be required, not necessary at time of hire). - CompTIA Security+ certification or other IAT Level II Certification Pay Information
