Job Description:
- The Hi-tech Business Unit at Mphasis is currently seeking a Systems Software Engineer. Based in Texas, US, this position will provide opportunity to work for one of our largest client accounts.
- This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering (or an equivalent combination of experience), plus 5 years’ experience in Kubernetes architecture to help us get Kubernetes configured for our network architecture.
- Years of experience needed – 5+ years of experience.
- Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd).
- Experience with Kubernetes Networking (including underlay networking).
- Experience with CNI-plugins and meta-plugins: deployment, configuration, management (WeaveNet, Calico, Flannel, etc). Especially on (but not limited to) multi-interface pods (multus, bridge-cni, Kubernetes-nmstate, macvlan, ipvlan, etc).
- Experience with infra-as-code tools (Helm, Kustomize, Ansible, Terraform).
- Experience in accelerator/GPU integration and provisioning: NVIDIA GPU operator, NVIDIA Container toolkit, etc. (and also their equivalents for AMD accelerators/GPUs).
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes Operator Framework and experience building and automating common Day-1 (installation, configuration) and Day-2 (update, backup, failover) activities using Operators.
- Ability to design and develop custom CNI plugins.
- Work with the team leads to resolve project roadblocks.
- Proactively identify and eliminate impediments.
- Supports product owner(s) with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope.
