FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Seniors in Jacksonville, FL to work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to gather and analyze business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Participate with Sales team in SOW discussions and understand the requirements, provide technical feasibility for software components, and identify custom solutions required, and provide high level estimates for the technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct impact analysis of the requirements, propose technical solutions, and contribute to the overall product roadmap. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation recommendations. Participate in the full systems life cycle including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications. Design, develop and test various elements of FIS proprietary Digital One product to run highly secure, regulated banking and financial operations operating in a multitude of different technological environments using technologies Java JDK 11, Enterprise Java Beans, Hibernate, JBOSS server, IntelliJ, Core Metrics, Maven, Oracle 12, MS SQL, Spring, SOAP and Restful Webservices, SMTP, Kubernetes, and Microsoft Azure Docker. Generate OpenAPI specs for UI integration and consumption. Maintain database related configurations for each environment to ensure seamless deployment and working of software solutions. Analyze and address ADA defects for ADA complaint application. Develop unit tests and perform thorough debugging to identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve the SLAs and SLTs. Recommend server tuning measures with respect to optimal application performance and resource utilization. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards. Maintain, test, and integrate different application components. Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and codebase documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability. Troubleshoot issues in production, Security risks remediation and mitigate the vulnerabilities reported by Penetration testing, VeraCode/CheckMarx and Blackduck scans.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: analyzing customer requirements, performing code impact analysis, and creating Proof of Concept; proposing and implementing software solutions upon analyzing the problem statement; performing security scans in application code and mitigating vulnerabilities; working with service delivery team on production release and post release monitoring; working with offshore counterparts for continuous development and defect management using Agile practices; working with front-end team to provide end-to-end solution; monitoring and resolving issues found in production logs; collaborating with multiple teams and participating in design discussions and implementations; and managing JIRA tasks independently in Agile model working with multiple dependent teams. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
