Software Engineer at Piper Companies

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Hybrid Software Engineer who will support a government contract located in Reston, VA, JBAB, or College Park, MD.

Responsibilities for the Hybrid Software Engineer:

·       Develop software solutions across multiple platforms (e.g., desktop, web, mobile) using appropriate programming languages (Angular, React or Vue).

·       Design system architectures and software components, ensuring scalability and maintainability.

·       Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., business analysts, product managers) to understand software requirements.

·       Analyze user needs and translate them into functional specifications for development.

·       Work closely with other developers, designers, testers, and business stakeholders to build robust software solutions.

·       Participate in Agile or Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

·       Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve development practices.

·       Learn new programming languages, frameworks, or methodologies as required by the project or industry changes.

Qualifications for the Hybrid Software Engineer:

·       5 to 10+ years of IT experience, require

·       Bachelors Degree, strongly preferred

·       Expirence with NOSQL and/or SQL

·       Active TS/SCI

·       Expirence with application frameworks such as Vue, Angular, and/or React

Compensation for the Hybrid Software Engineer:

• $130,000 – $200,000 *Depending on Experience.
• Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holiday, 401k, PTO, and sick leave as required by law
