Required Skills:

Software Engineer (Machine Learning) Responsibilities:

1. Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for massive social data and prediction problems.

2. Have industry experience working on a range of ranking, classification, recommendation, and optimization problems, e.g. payment fraud, click-through or conversion rate prediction, click-fraud detection, ads/feed/search ranking, text/sentiment classification, collaborative filtering/recommendation, or spam detection.

3. Working on problems of moderate scope, develop highly scalable systems, algorithms and tools leveraging deep learning, data regression, and rules based models.

4. Suggest, collect, analyze and synthesize requirements and bottleneck in technology, systems, and tools.

5. Develop solutions that iterate orders of magnitude with a higher efficiency, efficiently leverage orders of magnitude and more data, and explore state-of-the-art deep learning techniques.

6. Receiving general instruction from supervisor, code deliverables in tandem with the engineering team.

7. Adapt standard machine learning methods to best exploit modern parallel environments (e.g. distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU).

8. Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field and 24 months of work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience involving following:

11. 3. Deep learning framework, e.g. Tensorflow and Keras

12. 4. Leverage state-of-the-art neural networks and objectives to real world large-scale data and problem solving

13. 5. Research in topics closely related to machine learning, NLP, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, signal processing, data mining, artificial intelligence, information retrieval, or computer vision

14. 6. Developing highly scalable classifiers and embedding learners

15. 7. Similarity search and dimension reduction on massive scale of data and embeddings

16. 8. Tools leveraging machine learning, statistics, regression, rules-based models, or mathematical models

17. 9. Unsupervised feature representation and clustering

18. 10. Hadoop, HBase, MapReduce, or Spark

19. 11. Data processing, relational databases and SQL

20. 12. Solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

21. 13. Building highly-scalable performant solutions

22. 14. Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems.

Public Compensation:

$192,397/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits
