Software Engineer - Java / Python (2024-0045) - Acclaim Technical Services

We are actively hiring a Software Engineer - Java / Python with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Mission Technology Division working in Herndon, VA. 

We are looking for experienced Software Developers to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer. This program will deliver engineering services for network infrastructure as well as sophisticated enterprise computing infrastructure including end-point devices, data center hosted servers, multi-Cloud services as well as virtualized applications, and storage systems. Enterprise Computing Engineering services include modern application technology including containerized solutions with orchestrated workflow that function both on customer premise, and via remote Cloud services. Network infrastructure engineering services are comprised of core infrastructure, voice and video engineering, field engineering, application management and development for networks, network analytics, firewalls, network access controls and bandwidth service delivery. 

RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• A bachelor’s or master’s degrees in computer science are preferred with a minimum of three (3) year’s relevant experience with the following skillsets: Eclipse developmental duties Git Hub, Dev Ops, Java and Python
• Candidate should have experience in security review of applications and infrastructure
• 2+ Years' experience participating in agile activities
• 3+ years of RECENT Java or Python experience
• Research new technologies in object-oriented programming
• Experience in Cloud based services
• Works well in an engineering team environment with other teammates who varied skills levels
• Ability to mentor others

• Experience with infrastructure automation technologies like Docker, Vagrant, etc
• Experience with build automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc
• Experience with building APIs and services using REST, SOAP, etc
• Experience with scripting languages like Perl, Shell, etc
