This role will directly be responsible for driving our applied AI initiatives. Key job responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing AI & ML systems and products, including generative AI products and applications. You will research and prototype models and solutions in various AI & ML domains, and drive those to production. About the team Amazon Games Studeo Data & AI engineering team is a multi-discipline team, in which we own data solutions end-to-end: from telemetry and ingestion, to warehousing, analytics platforms, and ML infrastructure and deployment. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Irvine, CA, USA | San Diego, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience - 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 5+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience - Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Experience in designing, and deploying ML infrastructure, systems, and products - Experience with RL, DRL, and distributed ML architectures - Experience with designing and deploying services and products that leverage generative AI models Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
